So much hate so much despair when greed and sorrow makes their sad and awful pair
I want money, I want the power and the glory, it’s the never ending story
The world’s at war, blame religion, blame it all, but that is really not my call
Blame the seed of endless greed, whose hunger you can never fully feed
Respect your brother, love one another, but why do I bother, when the fruit of my labor is pain and no gain, not even a single grain
Yeah I got religion, but it’s greed that clouds my vision
Religion, evolution or the work against pollution, greed will be the end to our peace illusion
